This weekend brought about a ton of changes:
1)
I messed my knee up on 10 mile GPS hike with the US Forest Service.
It is nothing to serious, the glands in my knee swelled up causing a lot of
fluid in my knee. I have it in a brace and am taking some medicine. It should
be better in 3 to 4 weeks… (boy does it
hurt…) =/
2)
Since my knee is messed up, I can not go on my backpacking
trip in Wyoming. =( Second year in a roll that I didn’t get to
go.. the first time by hiking partner cancelled, this time it is me… * sigh *
3)
Our contract to sell the house is falling about fast. The buyer refuses to put down any earnest
money or provide me with a pre-approval letter from his mortgage lender. He also
wants to re-negotiate the contract price and conditions – after he signed it!
4)
The good news is that we have another offer on the table for a
bit more then the original offer. We will sign the contract for this offer
tonight and then give notice to the first guy that his deal is off. (our lawyer
said we can do this and still be legal). =)
5) The other good news is that the contract for our new home in Sweet has been signed by the sellers and turned into the lawyer. At least that deal is going smooth…
Wow – it has been a crazy weekend… God, I pray that You will
give us the wisdom to walk through all these changes and come out ok. May You guide us. Amen.
